Moovweb, a startup that offers technology for companies to build and maintain their mobile presence, just announced that it has raised $16 million in its first round of institutional funding. The funding came from
Jafco Ventures,
Trinity Ventures, and previous investors,
including Sun co-founder Andy Bechtolsheim. Jafco's Joe Horowitz and Paul Sallaberry have joined Moovweb's board of directors, while Trinity's Gus Tai is becoming a board observer.
