Three UK has announced an impressive new roaming offer for their customers that promises to abolish the roaming charges you might face in selected countries. The 'Feel at Home' offer extends to Three's UK based customers visiting Republic of Ireland, Australia, Italy, Austria, Hong Kong, Sweden and Denmark and allows them to use their own allowances of calls and data at no extra charge.
The countries supported initially all have a Three network of their own to roam onto, and Three UK promises that the deal will automatically activate when you turn on your phone. Roaming is a big pain when wanting to use your smartphone abroad and it's great to see Three taking the initiative and doing what they can to make it a better experience.
Three already offers highly competitive roaming rates within EU countries, allowing you to use your allowance of data for a flat rate of �5 per day. Coupled with their price promise on their forthcoming 4G LTE network, Three is looking like an extremely competitive choice for the smartphone user.
